X held hands with a girl today.
He hung out with his bloggy friend, Pearl. It’s wonderful to have met so many amazing people through blogging (and instagram) that also have kiddos near X’s age.
When we got pregnant we were overjoyed at the thought of having a kiddo…but, sad he wouldn’t have other kiddos to be around.
Kira, Pearl’s mom and writer of Rain OR Shine, was one of the first Portland bloggers to reach out to me. Just so happens that Pearl came along just a little bit after X. It has been a blast getting to see her grow up (via instagram, blogs, and play-dates) alongside my little guy. And, it is great to have another new mom to talk to about baby problems, frustrations, joys, and questions.
I can’t wait for the next Play-date!
