Today my husband and I celebrate seven  years of marriage. So far, there is no itch. 🙂

I honestly can’t even believe that we’ve been married for seven years! Besides my creaky knees and added weight I often feel like I am still 22 and walking down that aisle. I’m still head over heels for my husband of which I’ve seen and smelled farts, endured many stomach flus alongside, and spent several sleepless nights with while tending to our screaming child. Living with and loving someone isn’t all roses and chocolates. There have been many ups and many downs. I can truthfully say today that I am SO glad I married this man. I’m so thankful to be loved by him.

I’ve been working on lots of little projects for upcoming parties lately. Fun supplies like ink, paper, hot glue guns, fabric dye and more have all been involved. So, I’ll be sharing some more Working on it Wednesday posts giving sneak peeks of projects. Below are some iPhone images of a set of invitations I am working on for an Alice in Wonderland themed bachelorette party. My idea for these invitations was to create a set of paper-goods that remind the invitee of falling down the rabbit hole. Lots of little surprises along the way. I’m trying to keep a whimsical feel by using lots of pastel colors, different types of paper, and hand-lettering. I hope the invitations help guests feel intrigued and excited about the Alice in Wonderland themed party.

Last week I challenged myself to try creating seven new toddler outfits using three pairs of jeans provided by 7 for All Mankind. I had such a great time challenging myself with the first 7 Days of Style challenge (originally created by Lauren of The Little Things We Do) that I was super excited to try it again. When 7 for All Mankind sent him some complementary new threads and their Fall 2013 Lookbook I set out to style seven different outfits and share them through my Instagram stream with the hashtags #AWCPtoddlerstyle and #7FAMKids. Boy clothing tends to be pretty boring— t-shirts and jeans usually. I hope that some of the toddler boy style ideas help others when trying to find stylish new looks for their toddlers.
