I’m one of those people who loves quotes. I find them inspiring as cheesy as that may sound. “If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done,” shared by Thomas Jefferson felt like the perfect quote for me right now. It was also the perfect quote to start a new series on the blog! Every Monday stop by the blog (or my Instagram) to grab some free downloadable inspiration!

I’ve had this blog nearly ten years now. It has gone through so many changes as my life has also changed. Over the past couple of years, I’ve really dialed back my sharing because life and my career have certainly taken precedence. However, with the ten year anniversary coming around soon… well, let’s just say that I have been feeling nostalgic. I’ve been feeling grateful. And, I’ve been inspired!

Quote of the Week Downloads – Thomas Jefferson

I hope you enjoy these new downloads and will join me each week as I share more. Happy Monday… may it be the start of something you’ve never done before!

Are you like me and are still finishing up some holiday shopping for neighbors, employees, clients, or business partners? While some are already finished for the holiday season… I am not! However, I am just a little bit closer after creating these fun pear themed holiday gifts for my husband’s team at work.

Holiday gift idea for employees free printable tags

We needed several holiday gifts that were fairly affordable and ran across these beautiful boxes of Harry and David pears from Trader Joe’s.The addition of some cute printable gift tags and these were personalized and made for a great employee gift.

You could absolutely do something similar with a gift box, tissue paper, and beautiful pears from your grocery store if your Trader Joe’s doesn’t have these in stock or you are not near a Trader Joe’s store.

I had made these with no intention of sharing on the blog simply because life has been busy and I was working at 10 PM getting these projects done. Not the best lighting for photos! However, after posting photos in a Facebook group several of the wonderful members of the group requested tags.

I created tags that will work for employees, neighbors, clients, teachers, and more. All are free for personal use. However, if you’d like to help my blog, please share this post by pinning it on Pinterest or sharing on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

Instructions:

  • Download the design of your choice by clicking on the link below and saving the file to your computer. The 5 inch tags are the size that are pictured. I did make smaller tags as well so you could get more tags per page if needed.
  • For Tags: Print on 8.5X11 cardstock in full color. Cut out along black lines. Punch a hole in the corner and attach to your gift with ribbon or string.
  • For Labels: Print on 8.5X11 page-sized label paper in full color. Cut along black lines. Adhere to your package.

Valentines are on my mind as of late. So much that even while I was doing my bi-monthly trip to Trader Joes I saw fun Valentine ideas around every corner. I managed to avoid allll of the yummy chocolates, but filled my cart with items from their spice selection to create these spice-themed valentines! These are great gifts for a loved one or friend who is dynamite in the kitchen.

This is not a sponsored post. However, I’m all about some TJs. All opinions and ideas are my own.

Supplies

I created these free printables to coordinate with three specific spices (using that term loosely as they are really two seasoning blends and an extract, but you know… for the sake of brevity!) from Trader Joes, however… you could really pair them with a variety of spices from any store.

Supplies:

  • Free printable Spice Themed Valentines
  • Bakers twine, ribbon, or string
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Seasonings/Spices— I used 1) Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend, 2) Chile Lime Seasoning Blend, and 3) Bourbon Vanilla Extract
You totally spice up my life.
Life would be so vanilla without you.

Directions:

  1. Download the Free Printable Spice Themed Valentine Tags by clicking the link and saving to your computer, or if using Chrome, you can print right from the browser.
  2. Print the gift tags on white cardstock weight paper in full color using your home printer or your favorite local print shop
  3. Cut out each tag and punch a hole in the area marked with a circle at the top of the tag.
  4. Write a short note and sign the back of the tag so people know who to thank!
  5. String the tag onto your selected spices.
  6. Gift away!
Sugar and Spice you’re everything nice!

I think my favorite would be the vanilla because I use it in everything. What spices would you like being gifted on Valentine’s Day?
