I’m not a huge fan of the term Galentine’s Day… it always came off as cheesy to me. However, I do LOVE celebrating Valentine’s Day with my gals, so I actually have a few fun ideas from over the past years for celebrating Valentine’s Day with your favorite ladies! Scroll on to see some of my favorite Galentine’s Day party ideas from over time.

Valentine's Day favorite things party for a Galentine's Day party!

Favorite Things Galentine’s Day Party

Have you ever been to a Favorite Things party? Basically, each guest brings a set number of their “favorite thing” and then there is a gift exchange at the party where each guest goes away with some new favorite things. There are many ways to host a favorite things party, but my three favorite ways were posted in my pink and red Galentine’s Day party post from last year.

Galentine’s Spa Day

Do you have any ladies in your circle that deserve a spa day like… WHOA? Yep, I’ve got a handful of ladies that come to mind myself! Enjoy a relaxed and decadent afternoon with your favorite friends with the Valentine’s Spa Day lunch that features cucumber sandwiches, champagne heart jello shots, DIY manicure kits, rose water hand towels, and rose bath salts. Get your free printable invites as well!

Love and Plaid Ladies Night

Celebrate the coziness of winter by incorporating plaid, cable knit, hot drinks, and your favorite friends for a ladies night complete with chocolate, valentine exchange, and crafting station. Also, set up a simple card station where your guests can apply lipstick, kiss a card, and create a sweet message for a loved one! Add some stamps and they can send out Valentine’s cards right from the party. It was super fun putting together our favorite winter items to create this plaid valentine’s day party.

I know that I just shared my favorite summer batch cocktails last week… but, suddenly, it feels like Fall! There is just something about Fall that makes me happy at the very simple joys in life such as drinking a warm cup of creamy coffee with a crisp chill in the air. The inherent cheer of Fall for me is undoubtedly influenced, at least in part, by idea of the return of all my favorite fall cocktails. While I tend to lean towards gin or fruity, sweet concoctions during the Spring and Summer months, as the air gets cooler and the leaves begin to change I suddenly crave bourbon and more complex, rich flavors.

My Favorite Fall Cocktails

Below are some of the cocktails I’ve shared on my blog that just really hit the spot during the Fall months. Some of them may even run into winter, but I can drink them anytime the weather hits below 70!

Amaretto Sour

Amaretto Sour

I’ve always believed drinking a good Amaretto Sour felt like enjoying a really great make-out-session. Don’t believe me? Make one and find out!

Salted Caramel Hot Toddy

Salted Caramel Apple Hot Toddy

The colder it gets outside the more I love to cuddle up with a good blanket and a hot drink. Teas, coffees, ciders… I have no favorites. Hot Toddy’s tend to be on a regular rotation at my house when the temps get cooler. This rendition blends in some of my favorite fall flavors with a classic.

Classic Manhattan

Speaking of classics… a Classic Manhattan is one of my top five Fall night cap beverages. A classic cocktail is a great way to give a nod to the past as you celebrate the future. Perfect for Fall!

Pear Apple Sangria

Pear Apple Sangria

I had a really difficult time figuring out the name for this drink. It is similar to a punch, but I made it in singles. Sort of a sangria, but I don’t know many sangrias with bourbon in them. So, name it whatever you want… but, it is a tasty fall beverage!

Greek Martini

Greek Martini

I could possibly drink a greek martini every night if it weren’t a tad unhealthy to do nightly. I love the salty flavor of the greek olive juice paired with vodka. I’ll go more towards a classic martini or a martini with a twist in the hotter months. But, as soon as the cooler weather hits, hand me a dirty greek martini!

Old Irish Whiskey Cocktail

Old Irish Whiskey Cocktail

Before reading Savory Cocktails by Greg Henry (affiliate link) I probably never would have thought to include cloves in a cocktail. The smokey deliciousness of cloves pairs ever so nicely with the orange and whiskey flavors of this cocktail.

These are just a few of my favorite fall cocktails. I can’t wait to come up with more fun fall flavors to share!

What is your favorite fall cocktail?

Dear readers, I was so proud of myself for finally getting around to sharing all the fun content I’ve been working on. We’ve had a good run over the past few weeks and I have SO MUCH MORE to finish up and post. Unfortunately, the baby growing is taking a toll and I’m behind again. I’ll be taking a short break (hopefully only a couple of days) to try to recoup and get back to feeling healthy again. I have a ton of fun posts, so please keep on visiting the blog and stay tuned on my social media accounts. Lots of fun that you don’t want to miss including an announcement about an ebook I’ve been working on. EEK.
